  SPECIAL NOTICE

This Policies and procedures manual is produced in simple English language by Executive Council (EXCOS), the Council of Elders (COE) of Yoruba Kingdom Tv Movement as well as the technical support of De-Hope Network and the purpose is to enable the members to understand the mission and objective of the Yoruba Kingdom Tv Movement better. It is however outlined the applicable membership fees, eligibility, criteria for membership, benefits of membership and the procedures, forms for applying, with sanction and punishment of membership.

  YORUBA KINGDOM TV MOVEMENT BACKGROUND

The Yoruba kingdom tv movement are committed to being acknowledged as a leading Yoruba Agitator Network by building an active lifetime of connection between its members and the entire Yoruba populous by promoting a connection that responds to the priority needs of the agitating Yoruba's Nation.

The envisions started as Yoruba people treated worse even in their land is given self-autonomous and as a country where the entire Yoruba young, youth and old are given a quality dividend of democracy like every other developed nation.

The history of Yoruba Kingdom Tv Movement can be traced to an agitating group formed by a few Yoruba elites led by Professor Banji Akintoye in Nigeria clamoring for Yoruba Nation. The agitating groups which came to be known as Oduduwa Nation in Nigeria grew under the direction of Professor Banji Akintoye. The growth of the group led to the establishment of many Yoruba agitating groups/cities including Yoruba Kingdom Tv Movement In 2020 networking across the globe.

The group holds modernist and reformist agitation as regards the autonomous of all Yoruba Land from Nigeria. The major focus of the group is individual morality and belief along with education and socio-economic empowerment of its members.

Yoruba Kingdom Tv Movement holds its weekly meetings every Sunday evening via online using zoom application and its secretariat is in Washington State USA.

To be a pacesetting agitating organization with widespread acceptance amongst Yoruba in and outside Nigeria

To develop an enlightened Yoruba Citizens and nurtured them by a true understanding of Yoruba for the Yoruba upliftment and welfare of their brotherhood

  2. Strict adherence to the agitation for Yoruba’s Nation

  6. Patience and Steadfastness in freedom of Yoruba’ Land

  STANDARDS OF ETHICAL CONDUCT

Personal integrity is considered to be the most important contribution that an individual may bring to the Yoruba Kingdom Tv Movement. The network expects all its members to adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct during and after the meetings. General standards conduct including avoiding any action that might result in or create the appearance of:

  1. Obtaining personal financial gain from one’s position or activities with YKTVM
  2. Facilitating the financial gain of a competitive organization or individual through disclosure of confidential information about YKTVM
  3. Failure to attend meeting as prescribed by the executive
  4. Failure to properly account for YKTVM facility if it used

All members shall be loyal to the policies, procedures and activities of YKTVM above all other considerations

Fees, honoraria, and gifts of nominal value may be accepted by a member. However, acceptance of any gift, meal or social invitation which is not in keeping with good business ethics, or which obligates the member or the recipient, is in conflict with YKTVM interest is prohibited.

  CHAPTER ONE

Introduction

This policy manual exists to promote unity through a common understanding of what is expected of Yoruba Kingdom Tv members. This document is subjected to a review as the executive council deems it fit in order to reflect current practices. YKTVM will treat all members fairly and in a manner in keeping with the mission and ethical standards of the network.

Purpose

The aim and objective of the manual is to create a viable environment that will foster unity amongst members to achieve its focus so as to remain the most proficient agitating group for Yoruba autonomous.

  CHAPTER TWO

Eligibility

The membership of the YKTVM shall be open to all Yoruba from all parts of the world that share in the aims and objectives of the Society and have agreed to be bound by the provisions of this Membership Manual.

Process

An intending member shall obtain registration form, filled and submitted back at no prescribed fee. Also, any prospective member shall be sponsored by at one active, registered and recognized member who must have attended at least two General Meeting before his application is considered. However, a registered member shall pay all prescribed dues as at when due to maintain his/her membership. Finally, registered member shall abide by the provisions of this manual and the Code of Conduct of entire Yoruba Society and other rules and regulations prescribed by the leader of Yoruba Kingdom Tv movement which including the followings:

  1. Not become a traitor of YKTVM
  2. Not partake in any action that can mislead Yoruba away from agitation
  3. Not disobeying Yoruba custom or tradition
  4. Not discriminating against Yoruba’s agitator
  5. Not encouraging ostentation among members
  6. Not using YKTVM for the purpose of partisan politics
  7. Not tolerating immorality
  8. Attending weekly meeting
  9. Utilize the YKTVM platforms accordingly

Upon the approval as a registered member of YKTVM such member must have received a membership number either via sms or phone-in. meanwhile the member must be active enough.

  CHAPTER THREE

Behavioral Protocols, Procedures and Actions

The behavioural protocols are the rules of proper behavior, which is considered to enable us to ascertain the level of our commitment towards the agitation for Yoruba autonomy/Nation. No doubt, this will also protect the YKTVM family either one-on-one or on a social media gathering from false accusations of inadequate behavior, fake news, repetition of post or comment, irrelevant comment, irrelevant post, irrelevant contribution, insult or abuse and any other form of indiscipline.

1. On no account should a registered member absent in three (3) consecutive General Meeting as agreed and announced by Executive without given proper notification and genuine reason.

1.1. Any defaulter member shall be warned verbally for the first time by the Public Relation Officer of YKTv.

1.2. If the said attitude in “1” repeated by the same member after he/she has been verbally warned by the Public Relation Officer of YKTv within the period of two(2) Months, such member will be sent an official notice.

1.3. If the said attitude in “1” repeated by the same member after he/she has been sent an official notice, such member shall be booked for fine in writing.

1.4. After booking, if the said attitude is repeated by the same member, the Executive Council shall suspend such member for a two weeks period.

1.5. During suspension, if the suspended member apologizes before the suspension period expired he/she shall be considered but may ask to pay fine.

1.6. If the member in question refuses to apologize till his/her suspension elapses. Such member registration will be terminated.

2. On no account should member invaded his/her monthly due a period of two (2) months

2.1. Any defaulter member shall be fully contracted by the public relation officer to find out the issue verbally.

2.2. After verification by the Public Relation Officer of YKTVM, if the member in question has no reasonable response such member shall be warned verbally for the first time.

2.3. If the said attitude in “2” is repeated by the same member within the period of three (3) after he/she has been verbally warned by the Public Relation Officer of YKTVM, such member will be sent an official notice.

2.4. If the said attitude in “2” repeated by the same member after he/she has been sent an official notice within the period of six (6), such member shall be booked for fine in writing.

2.4. After booking, if the said attitude is repeated by the same member within the period of another three (3) months, the Executive Council shall suspend such member for One month but he/she must comply with laid-down dues.

1.5. During suspension, if the suspended member apologizes before the suspension period expires he/she shall be considered but may be asked to pay fine.

1.6. If the member in question refuses to apologize till his/her suspension elapses. Such member registration will be terminated.

3. On no account should a member steal of pilfer any network property

3.1. Any defaulter shall be asked to pay back or return the stolen material within a reasonable speculative period and shall suspend from membership for three (3) which must be paying his/her dues regularly

3.2. During suspension, if the suspended member apologizes in writing and promises not to repeat such attitude before the suspension period expires, he/she may be considered depending on what is missing or stolen.

3.3. If the member in question refused to apologize till his/her suspension elapsed or repeated the same or similar attitude any time. Such member registration will be terminated forever.

4. On no account should a member betray or identified as a traitor of YKTVM or Yoruba’s Nation

4.1. Any defaulter shall be suspended for three (3) months and sanction to pay a fine as it may be prescribed by the executive within a given speculated time.

4.2. During suspension, if the suspended member apologizes in written, promised not to repeat such attitude before the suspension period expires after he/she has paid the fine, he/she may be considered depending on the outcome of Executive Council in conjunction with Council of Elder of YKTVM judgment.

4.3. If the member in question refused to apologize till his/her suspension elapsed or failed to pay the imposed fine or repeated the same or similar attitude any time. Such member registration will be terminated forever.

5. On no account should a member damage or destroy YKTVM property or defamed others member character either

5.1. Any defaulter member shall be warned verbally.

5.2. If the same member in question repeated the similar or same attitude within the period of three months, he/she will be suspended and removed from all YKTVM group chats for three (3) month, meanwhile the executive will be reaching him/her directly if the needs arise and the suspended member shall be paying his/her dues regularly.

5.3. During suspension, if the suspended member apologizes before the suspension period expires he/she shall be considered but may be asked to pay fine. Meanwhile, in the case of damaging material he/she may ask to pay for what he/she spoilt if the damage/destruction occurred as a matter of negligence.

5.3. If the member in question refuses to apologize till his/her suspension elapses. Such member registration will be terminated.

6. On no account should a member miss managing the network platform or any group chat by posting irrelevant item(s), document(s), video(s), such as advertisement, campaign for a politician, fake news, unverified story(s) and others.

6.1. Any defaulter shall be warned verbally or with a yellow card for the first time and he/she will be asked to remove the post promptly.

6.2. If the defaulter repeated the same or similar attitude after issuing a yellow card within the speculative period of one (1) month, he/she will be removed from that group chat for six (6) months. However he/she will be active on other group chat.

6.3. After the completion of suspension, If the said attitude in “6” repeated by the same member within the period of three (3) he/she has been suspended such member will be re-removed permanently on that platform till Executive.

7. On no account should a member insult, abuse or use any form of vulgar language to address other members on the group chat forum or in the meeting.

7.1. Any defaulter shall be verbally warned or issued a yellow card for the first time and he/she will be asked to apologize with another post promptly.

7.2. If the defaulter repeated the same or similar attitude after issuing a yellow card within the speculative period of one (1) month, he/she will be removed from that group chat for six (7) months. However he/she will be active on other group chat.

6.3. After the completion of suspension, If the said attitude in “7” repeated by the same member within the period of three (3) he/she has been suspended such member will be re-removed permanent on that platform till Executive decide what to do

8. It should be further notice that:

  1. No room for traitors, and if any member default with substantial evidence shall be removed in all social YKTV chatting platforms and his/her membership will be withdrawn. NO APOLOGY SHALL BE CONSIDERED ON THIS.
  2. We appreciate you praying for us and the progress of Yoruba’s nation but do that on your own NOT on the group chat. Remember if everybody begins to post prayer(s) how the group chat will look like? Any defaulter may be removed from group chat for three (3) months, after verbally warned within the speculative period of one month.
  3. We feel honored and appreciate you for appreciating Executive commitment but personal eulogize should be avoided please.
  4. Lateness to general meetings without proper notification or reasonable reason should be avoided.
  5. Distraction of members while meeting is in-progress will not be entertained by anybody, any defaulter may be obliged to pay a fine by a disciplinary officer after he/she has been verbally warned on two occasions in that same meeting.
  6. Members should not permit loss or suffering to be done to the items owned by YKTVM or any part thereof anything which may be a nuisance, annoyance or cause damage or inconvenient to my co-members, YKTVM management and other agitators identified.
  7. To keep maintaining peace and cordial relationship focus and commitment all members are expected to be considerate, tolerant and understand one another.

  CHAPTER FOUR

Importance

Intending members are obliged to register on our website within the speculative period of one week maximum. The applicant must be ensured that all given information are genuine and real.

  CHAPTER FIVE

Fees and Dues

We are obliged to produce this aspect as the issue of finance remains the most powerful element in achieving all our set goals. To this, members candidly appeal to understand that the matter of money or monies will not be handed with levity hands and accountability is guaranteed. No doubt, every concerned member must be committed.

Application and form

It is an idea for a supply form for any eligibility member free of charge or as it may be prescribed by management of this network. However, the approved member must bear it in mind that he/she will pay Ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) in the first month of his/her membership. This will serve as an acceptance fee and more so, he/she can pay more than that.

Monthly Due

Currently, the agreed monthly membership due for membership is from five thousand naira (#5,000.00) above. This precipitates that a member can pay more than five thousand naira if he/she has the capacity to more but no member is allowed to pay less.

Payment Structure

Payment should be made latest the 5th of every new month, and upon the payment, members should screenshot or snap the evidence of the approved payment and forward it to the financial secretary or president.

Accountability

In every meeting, the financial secretary will read the financial transaction, all along with all money or monies received to the hearing of the members which would be reflected in the minute of the next meeting. All contradictions may be then, resolved between the payee and financial secretary amicably. In the case where the payee and the Financial Secretary cannot resolve amicably, then the president will interface.

The financial report will be submitted as well due for the users as it is indicated in side financial policy manual

  CHAPTER 6

Responsibilities and Benefit of Members

This is a call to serve our father land and the highest benefit that all members would get is to see the upcoming and next generation of Yoruba Race liberated from different operations and challenges that are currently facing us. It is our dream to achieve the Yoruba Republic as promptly as we can so as to see our resources managed and controlled by Yoruba Citizens. Other benefit highlighted as following:

  1. Accept the invitation and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting of the YKTv.
  2. Opportunity to participate in professional development workshops and opportunities developed or promotes by YKTv
  3. Expose and connect to other reliableYoruba descendants across the globe through our meetings and workplace programs.
  4. Mentorship and peer support in agitating of and may as well have privileges of recognition when achieved.
  5. Opportunity to participate in different Yoruba activities and to learn new things especially an online programmes
